My story, your protection
From a very young age I learned that the sun, although essential to life, can become a silent enemy.
With very fair skin and a family history of skin cancer, my relationship with the sun's rays has always been delicate. After several diagnoses, treatments, and a profound awakening, I decided to transform that experience into action.
This is how Mi Nut Parasol was born, a brand committed to skin care, sustainability and beauty.
The goddess Nut, our inspiration
In ancient Egypt, protecting oneself from the sun was a sacred gesture and a symbol of power. We are particularly inspired by Nut , the goddess of the sky, whose body arches over the Earth like a protective dome. Each night she envelops the sun and returns it at dawn.
That gesture—protecting ourselves from the sun—is the soul of Mi Nut Parasol.
Our inspiration also comes from the Far East, where the art of parasol making has been perfected for centuries: lightweight bamboo structures that combine beauty, functionality, and respect for nature.
Our umbrellas are born from this fusion of ancient cultures: the protection of Nut and the refined craftsmanship of the East.
Certified sun protection
We subject our umbrellas to rigorous laboratory testing to ensure their effectiveness against ultraviolet radiation.
Tested according to the international standard UNE-EN 13758-1 in an independent laboratory, with results that guarantee UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) protection between 25 and 45 , depending on the style and color of the fabric. This means they block up to 95-97.5% of UV rays.
